Admin Global Parameters (3.x.x and earlier)

Obsidian 2.5 introduced Global Parameters, which allow you to configure job parameters globally, and then simply import them into jobs as needed.

Note on user access control: By default, only admin users may edit global parameters, and all users except Limited Read users may view them. System settings globalParamEditAdminRequired and globalParamReadAdminRequired can be used to change this behaviour.
