Obsidian is a fully-featured Java-based scheduling application which supports load balancing, failover and job workflow.
Version 1.1 was released April 15, 2011. Version 1.4 is the current release (available November 1, 2012).
Check out Getting Started if you are looking to set up Obsidian.
The User Guide will provide all the information you need to use all of Obsidian's features.
